Unfortunately, our church field is still saturated and unusable for service. But we still want to make gathering together safely a priority for the church. Therefore, WE ARE STILL GATHERING ON SUNDAY!! Outdoor service will be in the church parking lot tomorrow morning (Sunday, August 2nd) @ 9:30am. We will also dismiss keiki to their keiki tents (behind the church building) after worship. This is a one-week adjustment while we monitor the condition of our field.
For visibility sake, we are asking for trucks and large vehicles to park further back, cars and smaller vehicles to park closer to the stage. You will want to back into your parking stall to have the best visibility. There won't be the space for everyone to set up their personal canopies like we have on the field. So everyone can choose to sit in their cars, stand outside their cars for worship, or set up chairs with no canopy if it's not too sunny or too rainy.
Remember, we are following the new mask mandate strictly. You don't need to wear a mask if you are sitting in your car or if you are more than six feet away from everyone outside your household. But if you are sitting with people outside your household or approaching within six feet of people, please put your mask on. All keiki five and older should have a mask on when they go to the keiki classes. If the classes are small enough to distance the keiki six feet apart, the teacher will let them know when they can remove their masks. The worship team and any speakers will remove their masks on stage, but put them right back on whenever they are exiting the stage.
Like I said, we are being fluid as a church, but we are not losing the heart of who we are. We are a Book of Acts church that believes that the presence of God shows up powerfully when we gather to encounter Him!! We are excited to worship together, to receive the teaching of the Bible, and to see the Holy Spirit minister to our hearts. For those not able to gather with us, the Digital Campus service will be still be available at 1:30pm on Sunday on our website, app, Facebook, and all our other platforms. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
